1) Conan by Robert E. Howard
This series have everything I like - dark atmosphere, strong yet not quite good nor heroic protagonist, lot of adventures, battles, some politics and it's one of the first fantasy titles I read.
2) Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny
Because it's amazing. So many great characters, great ideas, plot twists and whole lotta potential for more stories. Too bad that there are only two series of those books. But it's still hell great and fun to read.
3) Kane by Richard E. Wagner
Because of the protagonist - you won't find better anti hero in any fantasy novel. He's immortal, unbeatable, totally mary sue and totally evil. You have to love Kane.
4) Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski
Love the unique climate of those books, love the characters and love all those references inside. Had a little time to play games, but books are great. It's damn goldmine of quotes, anyway.
5) Kushiel's Legacy by Jaqueline Carey
Maybe the best erotic fantasy series. Maybe not. Well, anyway, it's a very cool series, with bdsm touch among with a politcs and adventures. There's few fictional elements there, little magic and such stuff, but it's still fun to read.
6) Achaja by Andrzej Ziemiański
Pure fun. Lot of fighting, lot of scheming, lot of fucking No, really, it's not a deep or intelectual series, but it's horrible time thief.
7) Dragonlance by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman
Because of Laurana, one of my first book love. Been very young while reading those books and they're probably not the best ones I've read. Yeah, yeah. But damn, I returned to them year ago and still found them cool. It's pure sword and sorcery - nothing more, nothing less. And it has hot elven chick
